Pricing formula & editable rates

Example planning assumptions, not an approved Atriksha rate card. Design hours come from the scope you choose, not an automatic analysis of your file.

Total = (briefing + modeling + drawings + revisions + review) × hourly rate + tax.
Modeling = parts × complexity hours. Drawings = drawing count × drawing hours. Revisions = rounds × parts × revision hours. Review = parts × review hours. Each cost is rounded to paise before adding.

Design units

STL files don’t store units. Match the units used when exporting.

Which files work?

STL: binary or ASCII, up to 200,000 triangles. We check for open edges, inconsistent faces and separate shells before calculating volume. Use one closed solid; self-intersections, internal cavities and manufacturability still need review.

STEP / IGES: accepted as reference files. Enter dimensions and, if available, solid volume from your CAD software. Their geometry is not extracted by this tool.
